At 18, in the middle of the pandemic, Santiago picked up a paintbrush for the first time. What started as a way to cope with heavy emotions quickly became a calling. Each canvas became a reflection of his inner world—sometimes raw and chaotic, other times calm and searching. He painted every day, without waiting for “perfect” inspiration. Some works took hours, others flowed out in minutes, but each one carried a piece of him. Over the years, the paintings accumulated—first a few stacked against the wall, then dozens filling his room, until eventually, he had created over 250.
